HI,

Thats looks pretty sweet still.

Is the CPU overclocked? thats free performance with the aid of a £25 heatsink.

Are you sure that GFX card is right? as a GTX980ti has more than 2Gb Vram.

What monitor do you have?

Is the CPU overclocked? If not, get a decent CPU cooler (if needed) and overclock to 4.5ghz+

Your GPU performs alongside a GTX 1070/VEGA 56 (roughly) so you'd need to be getting a 1080/1080ti for a meaningful upgrade. I would just recommend you wait for the next gen of Nvidia cards (Ampere) in next year.

Stulid

thank you for your reply

Is the CPU overclocked? no it is not overclocked

Are you sure that GFX card is right? as a GTX980ti has more than 2Gb Vram - should read 6Gb Vram

What monitor do you have? ROG Swift PG278Q

Your monitor is a 144 Hz Gsync 1440p monitor. Your 980 Ti is a fine card for it but a 1080 Ti will give you a significant boost. I expect they'll be reduced in price for the post-Christmas sales. I agree with @stulid about the overclocking, but only if you have a decent CPU cooler. If you've not got a decent one or - heaven forfend - are using the stock Intel cooler then we'll also need to know which case you have to recommend a cooler that will fit.

Quartz

thank you for the reply the case is a Corsair 750D and the cooler is also Corsair one but I do not know the model

wil keep my eye on the post Christmas sales

Is it a liquid cooler or an air cooler?

Sounds like you have a cooler that is good enough to overclock the CPU to unlock some tied up performance. By how much would depend on the temps and the quality of the cooler.

Sounds like AIO is the Corsair cooler

Is the Ti card overclocked ? If it's the Xtreme card, like Asus Strix and Zoatc amp Xtreme can be pushed hard for good gains

Pushed my Strix to 1500mhz on the core , get some gains on fps :)
