A recent purchase of my new Radeon HD5850 has sparked a reason for me to upgrade the rest of my system. I've done a little window shopping and have built a wish list .....

I'm not looking to overclock or anything, but want a good system, running in xFire mode to ensure good performance for a few years yet.

If i could have your views on this bundle please

You can make your own watercooling setup for little more than the H50 and get better results (also queiter).

I'd also get more RAM, as future games will be using more and more memory, and you want Windows 7 and all your programs running smoothly in the background (No swap file choking).

Finally have you considered an SSD?

I would have thought 8Gb is enough RAM myself (unsure if you saw it was a 2x2Gb bundle) and my basket quotes for 2 sets of this.

I have also considered an 64GB SSD as well, for OS and one fave game.

Also bearing in mind allthis new gear, is a Corsair HX620W PSU going to be enough? Looking at what i'm ordering, i am also considering getting a new PSU, and case so going the whole hog, but that mean extra fans if i'm feeling rich enough to get an 800D (then again do i really want all those fans?)

Oh sorry, I didn't see the (2 sets). Yeah 8 GB is plenty.
620W should be fine.

You only really need to be worried if you're cross or triple firing, or running something crazy like a 12xSSD RAID0.
Personally I've never cared much for a good case unless you need lots of airflow, it's pretty much look/sound over matter.

Since you're watercooling though any case should be fine as long as you have the radiator somewhere accessible. Mounting that Noctua fan as intake should be plenty.

I am getting ridiculous load temps (35°C) in an ancient case with absolutely no fans other than a single Noctua NF-S12B FLX running at 700 rpm.

Decided to ditch going for the Cosair H50 alone and get this instead:

Corsair Extreme Bundle
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-003-CS

And also check out a SSD

Corsair Extreme X64 64GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-004-CS

Is this overkill? Or behemoth?

Also ami missing anything with the 800D case? Should i consider getting more fans etc?
