Hi all,

My system spec is below and has certainly served me well over the last five years with just GPU upgrades.

I'm already thinking about upgrading my 7950 to a 290 but I was just thinking I might upgrade the CPU/MOBO/RAM whilst I'm at it (and it's always nice fiddling around with components.

I've not kept up to date in the last year mobo-wise so would like to know what's a popular solid choice that doesn't cost the earth.

Excluding the GPU, I'll put a £500 limit on the CPU/MOBO/RAM (assuming that's doable).

The bundles look pretty decent from ocuk or are they a fair but more extra? I'm in the country on 3G and don't have enough time to research properly I'm afraid hence why I'm being lazy and asking you :)

Thanks in advance

GZA

That's a very decent bundle snips got there, if anything sell the SuperFlower PSU on the mm :)

Everyone seems happy with the Giga mobo then. I think lee32uk's spec is more in line as it's a fair bit cheaper and I don't think I need 16GB of memory.

Totally forgot about the CPU cooler. Would prefer air - what's good these days? Phanteks? Alpenfohn Doom? Don't need THE BEST but a solid choice to get a decent OC.

On the subject of OC, what's an average overclock to expect from these current chips?
