SOLVED!!!
Started building a Mini ITX system for LAN/Gaming.
Ordered myself an Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe motherboard but had troubles getting it to post. Assumed it was the motherboard after a fair amount of testing.
After RMAing it back to OCUK and it coming back as posting fine I was left slightly stumped.
I re-assembled with only CPU, RAM and PSU. Still no post but I did notice the DRAM light illuminated so I started reseating and repositioning RAM sticks.
Managed to get it to post with 1 stick of ram! Awesome. But it will only post with 1 stick in slot B. 1 in slot A or both in just leaves an illuminated DRAM light and no post. Tried both sticks from 2 different brands and got the same result.
Spoke to OCUK but unfortunately they couldn't remember if it was tested with 1 or 2 sticks.
I know the CPU is a main part of the memory controlling so could it be down to that or is it more likely a faulty board?
