Heres the story

Brother uninstalled 4850 drivers, shut down system.

Took out 4850, put in GTX 260, turned on computer, fans and lights come on, but no POST screen (no signal at all), no hard drive loading up, nothing.

Cleared CMOS a few times, nothing. Unplugged optical drives, hard drive and anything else, still nothing. Put the old 4850 back in, same problem, tried another card, same problem.

In a state of despair, dont know what else to do :( Im thinking the BIOS has gone totally **** up, but god knows how to repair it. Anyone ?

The Keyboard lights also seem to either stay lit, or not at all, num pad doesnt make the light turn on or off.

What mobo is it? also you say tried all three cards? sounds very power related, for some reason have you removed the 4pin CPU plug up top of the mobo?

MSI P35 Neo. All power connectors are connected to the motherboard (4 pin and the 24 pin). PSU is a PC Power & Cooling Silent 610.

Have tried booting with each stick alone and with none at all, same result :(.

There are also no "beeps" you would usually hear from the motherboard in problems :(.

Ok i think i found out what the problem was, the memory.....

Individually, all of the 4x1GB sticks would allow the system to boot up. However, only 2 of the sticks together would boot, take them out and put the other 2 in, and it wont boot. Has anyone ever heard of this before ? It just seems strange considering individually they boot.
