Hi All

ive just built a brand new system with the following components:

Amd ryzen 9 7900x
gigabyte aorus elite ax b650 mobo
32gb corsair dominator ddr5 ram
wd black 1tb sn850x nvme
gigabyte 4070ti aero
rog strix 850w psu

basically the minute i attach power to the gpu and try to boot, it clicks on for a nanosecond and then goes off. the only thing that stays on is the power to the memory for the rgb lights. If i disconnect it and plug the monitor in the mobo it boots fine and works no problem. I'm running the latest bios and ive reset the cmos and checked the card is seated etc. ive checked cables are ok. when the power isnt plugged in to gpu the logo lights up and theres a white led on the board that lights up. when the power is plugged in these do not come on at all. the only thing i can't check is the 12vhpr adapter. i've ordered a custom one anyway. Any ideas people????

thanks

Sounds different to the issues I had, does the 4070ti still have a 3 to 1? if so make sure the pcie are seperate outputs from the PSU and not an 8 pin to dual 8 pin?

Someone in my thread did recommend updating the firm with everything plugged into the iGPU if you have one so could always try that. Other than the usual try differnt cables and try in a different slot I've not got much else to suggest other than the new 12 pin which worked for me on my 4080
