My system used to be a great overclocker with a permanant 4hgz from my processor and both 5850's at 980 clocks. All with decent temperatures. But 2 days ago I might of overclocked it a slight bit to much trying to get some more performance for bf3. One of my 5850's has died and the system won't even boot if its connected. And now bf3 crashes if I have anything overclocked at all... I always keep an eye on temps on my keyboards lcd and Hwmonitor and temps seem great. I have done a fresh install of bf3 and still not helping. With everything set at factory settings I can normally get a few games of bf3 with only the occasional crashes. I suspect something is overheating that can't be monitored? or something has degraded??

I'm looking to upgrade the whole system in a couple of months time but would still like to find the problem.

With the crashing or freezing of battlefield its something to do with battlefield I experience this as well. The whole system won't boot I'm not sure about.

I have never had any problems with bf3 before one of my 5850's died. I'm sure its something overheating that I can't see.
