Hi all,

Currently building my system and put the cpu mobo ram an gfx carfd in. I have connected the psu but when I hit the power a red light flashes and nothing happens. there is power to the mobo but I can't think wat the issue could be?

any help would be appreciated.

any ideas wat the next step is? tried with only 1 stick of ram in differennt slots and different ram. reset cmos and flashed bios. there seems to be power but it just won't start even thought the cpu fan tries too

unplugged all power cables from psu except main one which is permanently attached and I got power and only boot device and gpu leds were on. hmmmm interesting one!

Can you double check that the EPU switches are in their normal position and there is also a clearCMOS jumper and that this is in the normal position.

*I know you said you cleared the CMOS but many people just yank the battery out for a bit instead.

Yeah all in the normal position and the jumper is at 1-2, manual states use 2-3 to clear the cmos.

Thanks for the help so far, I'm going to try add components 1 by 1 on the psu and see if I can find the fault that way.

Any idea on warranties for PSU's? I got this in 2010 from oc so I might call them up to see what they think on Monday.

Im not sure on the warranty situation, it maybe out of warranty naturally or as OCZ went bankrupt and bought out by Toshiba there may not be anyone to help.
