Hey guys i recently custom built a system, everything was going well for a few hours and then i got 8 Blue screens of death straight and now it seemed to have stopped when i made no changed at all, lets hope i dont get another bsod when im typing this otherwise i will go into depression

Mobo = Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 Z68 Socket 1155 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

GPU = EVGA Nvidia GTX 560ti DS Superclocked 1gig

CPU = Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 Socket 775, 1156, 1155, 1366, AM2, AM3 Heatpipe CPU Cooler

Ram = G-Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX Memory Kit CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V

PSU and Case = GX 650W Bronze + coolermaster cm 690 ii

I have no idea what causes this, I ran a virus scan and no viruses and i also ran a memory test and it said everything was ok no errors

Some of the software i use

Windows 7 64 bit ultimate

AVG internet security 2012

This is what it said on the BSOD

System_service_exception

STOP 0x0000007E

and some said memory dumps

Was this a fresh install of Windows?

What hard drives are you using, have a go at running HD Tune to check the drives for errors of there mechanical drives.

Also try mem test to check the memory, link below, you might already used this.

Im doing a full hdd error check using HD Tune pro 5.0 no errors so far.

This is what happened, I was installing games and i installed 5 in a row without rebooting and then all of a sudden blue screen and memory dump appeared, when ever i rebooted 1-2 mins later it would get blue screen again saying system_service_exception or 0x0000007e and it did this several times and then stopped and everything went ok again.

Maybe it automatically did a system restore all my saved passwords were gone, ill do a mem test with your link as well and report

Did both, checked my HDD with a thorough scan and no errors came up, also did a memory check using a boot up disk and no errors came up. Dont know why those crashes happen could it be a serious problem or just a random one off?
