finally managed to OC my vencie beyond 2.2ghz today after initially thinking it wouldnt do it, all it took was running the ram @ 266 and dropping the HTT to 800. but now im trying to monitor my temps but systool isnt ecactly helpful with discriptions :(

Motherboard-External CPU temperature 33oC
Motherboard-Internal CPU temperature 47oC
Motherboard-System Temperature 44oC

now they all start with motherboard, which rather than that being the temp of the board i guess is just systools way of telling me they are functions of the motherboard. but ive got an internal and external temp for CPU and that internal one looks quite high to me... what do you think?

also im using CPU stability Test v6.0 (build154) by Gilgamesh to test the CPU,

Well I would assume that it says motherboard as they are being monitored from the motherboard. I would think that the external temp would be the case temp and the internal temp the CPU temp. Not sure about the system temp, could be the case temp but looks very high, what case are you using? It could also be the VRMs though.

at the moment my case is open so air flows screwy, will shut it in a moment, the X1800XT isnt helping, damn things too big and very warm... 53oC @ idle ...
