T-Mobile 3g Dataplan Query

Evenin all,

Was wondering if someone can give me some insight into T-Mobile's 3g contract add-on (Web n Walk or what have you).

What does it cost and what usage does it offer?

The plan is to get a 3g dataplan added onto my contract (which is ending at the end of the month) for nothing/not a lot and get a T-Mobile G1 which I will sell and fund an Iphone purchase; i assume t-mobile 3g on an unlocked iphone will work fine?

Any help is much appreciated

1. If you buy the G1, then the usage limit is 3GB per month.

2. No IM, MSN or Skype - those things will generally not work (without some sort of workaround). Also supposed to be no streaming media, but I haven't seen it blocked yet.

3. If you have an unlocked iPhone, then yes, all the data should work fine. In fact, everything will work except for visual voicemail as far as I know.
