I'm looking at the T-mobile sim only tariffs and they look quite good for the price.

Are T-mobile that bad (in terms mobile reception)?

I find my reception better than vodafone. But depends where you live.
T mobile are one of the top networks, so reception is not going to be an issue.

Don't get reception where I live, had a god awful 18months with them, was glad to see the back of them.
Rubbish customer service too, unhelpful etc.
Made me pay £15 to replace my lost sim too.

I've been with them since the days of One2One. Signal quality has been excellent regardless of where I am.

Customer Service on the other hand is becoming worse since the introduction of off shore call centres. Should the situation become dire though, Customer Relations (seperate dept) are excellent.

i have been using tmobile for what must be almost 3 years, get on well with them, havent needed to call customer services too often except to get answerphone numbers when i updated the software on my phone. when i have used it it seemed good. they have good insurance too.

i like their tariffs, i have the flext + webnwalk max or what ever it is @ £35/month with unlimited internet (i can use my n97 as a modem on my laptop if i need to).

coverage is ok where i am and have been. usually get 3g anywhere but my home town :S
