I used to be on t-mobile but they had awful reception etc (about 3/4 years ago). I was wondering if they have got better especially in london?

I was also thinking of either they w810i or the n80 on flex35 any thoughts?

i currently have an orange contract for 30£ which i get 300mins and 1000txts, however i have to pay for almost all my phones (my bill is usually around 35£, ive requested a pac and they didnt even try and make me stay.)

thanks for help guys

I've been with them for around 8 years. The reception in London (east) has been pretty good for me.
Customer services isn't bad but I've been in contact with them a lot over the past few months and it can be hit and miss.

They messed up my bill in Oct last year but I was compensated after 6 weeks. It took many calls to get it sorted though.

I've made 3 calls in 2 weeks regarding an upgrade and each time I'm told something slightly different and now I've decided to leave them. You may have seen my thread entitiled T-Mobile upgrades. I spend in excess of £100 a month and they want me to pay for an upgrade.
I'm going to Orange or Vodafone after I was given my PAC code no questions asked.

REMOVED AS MY FEELINGS HAVE CHANGED ON THE SUBJECT....

T-Mobile are Great!, Best Mobile Operator around...

I think it depends on which area you live in, or most likely to use your phone. Here in staffordshire, the service can be VERY hit/miss, especially around cannock/rugeley areas, so much that i wouldnt advise you using them at all.

I've been with them for 18 months, has been fine for me.

Customer service is rubbish in the evening and they dont seem to care, but if you ring in the daytime its been fine for me so far. Always gets through straight away, though i'm a business user so might be different for consumer.

Thats the same for any network. Unless you spend hundreds on your bill each month they not bothered in your custom.

Front Line, Why?

as above, as far as our price plans and services go were great, and our customer services are some of the best, but i just think some of the companys policys give us a bad name.

Would you be ale to tell me wy T-Mob won't let me have a free upgrade when I spend in excess of £100 per month at all?

personally i wouldn't touch t-mobile, i was with them a few years back and had endless network and reception issues. also the supporti got for said issues was completely crap, they replaced my phone 3 times when it was damn obvious there was nothing wrong with it.

thats my experience, after that i went back to vodaphone and i've never had a problem. orange are pretty good too by all accounts but I'd never go back t-mobile*

*just my experience and thoughts

I used T-Mobile for 18 months and always found them really good.

They were really helpful when my text messaging stopped working, and always rang me back when they said they would.

Their online account management is pretty good aswell.

Been with them for about 16months now and It's been fine. Had a problem when I first got the phone as my number was not swapped over as I requested. One two min phone call and the promis it would be sorted by the next day receaved. Sure enough a text the very next day and everything sorted out.

After haveing a HUGE running battle with vodaphone while trying to upgrade to a new phone T-Mobile so far seem a lot better. Only slight problem I've noticed is reception seems a little worse than vodaphone in some areas. That said it's more than enough for everywhere I've tried to use it.

front line calls in Dearne are outsourced, so you do not work for T-Mobile. Might be worth remembering that before you **** a companies name off.
Also might be worth considering that there are a few t-mobile staff on this forum ;]
