T Mobile Dongle

Ive recently got one of these as I dont have a phone line in my room at the min (damn army!). Now when its downloading there is no problems, constant solid connection but when I hook it up to my ps3 and play online then I get constant lag spikes every few seconds which normally ends up in a disconnect from the server. Any ideas as to why and how to possibly fix this? Cheers.

erm because wireless dongles are not meant for gaming merely mobile internet so im afraid you will be stuck with it like that.

The ping is something like 300ms average i think on 3g dongles. You need under 30ms for any decent playing experience.

Erm my mate has a wireless dongle and plays cod4 no problems at all. 3 green bars all the way from him.

well he must just be lucky or either cod works differently. But i can assure 100% that dongles are no good for gaming normally,unfortunately.
