T-Mobile tethering

Hi all

Another question about tethering, this time about T-Mobile. Am I right in saying that the Internet bundle with 1.5gb of usage allows tethering? Networks seem to be very coy about whether you can tether or not and its incredibly frustrating!

You will be able to physically do it, but whether you're actually permitted to do it is another thing entirely (and what I'm trying to find out).

The only one you're not allowed to tether on is the full monty as far as I know.

I asked this question in store about a month ago and I was told if I wanted tethering it was an extra £5pm on any plan. Don't know about the ins and outs of 'not allowed to' and 'physically not being able to' though.

If it helps, I think O2 includes tethering in all their plans (definitely the on&on plan at least)

I chatted to an agent online and the £10pm extra Internet package (1.5gb) can be used for tethering.

It works, and if you don't take the mickey they don't seem to care. A couple of friends are on a 30 day U-fix contract with 500MB allowance and they frequently use all of it for tethering with no complaints or even any sign that T-Mobile have noticed.
