Hey Guys,

I'm due my Upgrade in two weeks and after looking at the phones available on my network (T-Mobile), I'm having a hard time deciding on what phone will be right for me and should be good enough to last the 18 months of my new contract (my last handset (K810i) had loads of problems and I sold it to buy a BB-Pearl after only 3 months of my new contract), at present I own a BB-Pearl 8120 and love the features it offers with its e-mail, messenger and browser to name a few, but it has also come at a cost with its subpar camera, frequent crashes and several software bugs.

Also am I restricting myself by just looking at T-Mobile and would I be able to find a better deal else where (I have employee discount with T-Mobile which is why i have stayed with them, even though there signal in my area sucks and they seem to be the worst for getting new Handsets).

So from the range of handsets available on T-Mobile/Other Network which one would you recommend for me and why?

Looking forward to your replies,
/Meritor

I've been looking on the T-Mobile Site and what do people think of the G1 and the Omnia? Also what are the newer 8mp camera phones like??

M,

Lots of people like the G1. Its getting quite good reviews online. I've got the MDA Vario III at the moment, a work colleague has the "Touch HD" and that is gorgeous. I'm personally waiting for the N97 to be released.

After having an N95 and having it spend more time in the first 6 months at a repair centre rather in my possession i just don't know if i could ever own a Nokia again, no matter how tempting the N97 is

officially maybe, but if you know where to look you can get it on the other networks as well(bar 3 as far as I can tell).

mobiles.co.uk(cpw and its other affiliate sites also have it) has it on o2, expansys has it on t-mobile(bit expensive tho) & mobilephonesdirect has it on vodaphone.

I have 1/2 price line rental with T-Mobile, so to leave them and then resign-up through a 3rd party would just be nuts.... wouldn't it? And i would be wanting my phone as a free upgrade not one that costs me £540
