Hi,
I still cannot get broadband where i live, and BT are discontinuing their ISDN service soon, so i need a decent alternative for the internet.
I saw an advert for T-Mobile's web n walk service, and i'm thinking this could be just what i need.
has anyone else tried it? any good?

£29 a month and it's 1.8mbps with coverage wherever you get phone coverage!

comes with a little USB modem, do you think it would be possible to share the connection on my home wireless network?

Cheers

Im in the same boat, but about to move to an area that BT dont service with ADSL due to them putting fibre cable in.

I was looking at 3's deal 25 a month 7gb cap upto 2.8mb.

i'm just asking them about the latency.
i checked the map and it said i wasn't in the turbo area, but in 3g.
apparently 3g is 384k-1mbps.
but when i asked the live help they said i was in a turbo area!

gonna try it, i'll have the modem by the start of next month.
and with their 14 day guarantee you can't go wrong :D

Edit: According to 3 the ping will could be anywhere from 10-100!
not bad if you ask me :D

2.8??? you must have to be right under a transmitter for that, and you still have the problem of the dns routing. They have to have a good dns system otherwise it will still browse pants. The t mobile webnwalk some times struggles with this

T-Mobile 3.5G is pretty good when you get it, mind, have stumbled across it once or twice with my N95 :D
