T500 RS WHEEL MOUNT

Hiya

I have a Thrustmaster T500 RS wheel, how have other owners mounted them?

Tried on the desk but its not very secure and scared to clamp to tight as it doesn't help and will damage the desk

Tried on a small fold out table but not very stable as the FFB is very strong on these

any ideas?

I do not attach it to the desk, imho, too much hustle every time you want to race.
I bought Wheel Stand Pro for Thrustmaster T500RS DELUXE instead. Quality product. Google it, watch some youtube video, really worth 84 quid on auction site. Unfortunately, the seller is away until 28 of January.

Thanks for the response, i had a look at those .. difficult to get new!!

decided now to return it .. the wheels louder than my PC when it heats up and i find that it slides back on my desk .. i tightened it to a point i thought it will damage the desk and it made no difference

basically for the cost of this i dont think im prepared to spend another £100 plus ontop for a stand or cockpit
 
Could've maybe bolted it to the desk using wingnuts to secure it for a semi easy removal method. Depends if you're ok with having holes in your desk though :D

Other than that, yeah, wheelstand pro if you can get one.

No worries:-) You are just not into racing. If you were, £100 for proper stand on top of your config from your sig is nothing;-) You are getting rid of the best wheel this kind of money can get you. Next best thing would set you back a £2000. It is called FREX. Each to their own:-)

I see the point but it's nearly 400 notes with the wheel bs stand and I do like racing games I'm not a hardcore simmer

I found the fan was noiser than by pc was lol
