Is 91C under load too high for this laptop CPU?

I'd guess so but not sure 100% as it maybe manufactured to be able to run higher (doubt it though)

lol, also try running coretemp instead. Speedfan often gets its reading wrong if its not been configured for the motherboard (and it hasnt for most - particularly laptop boards). I think Everest is normally quite accurete, but it depends which reading he is looking at. IIRC it has 3 temps listed under sensors, the one that just says CPU is way out, but the temps of the individual cores are about right
