I've been using Chrome on my iMac forever, I've never really got into Safari but I think it's time I gave it a chance.

My biggest problem with Safari is the way it handles tabs. In Chrome I have a nice extension that allows me to reopen closed tabs and also gives me custom column width.

So at the moment, Chrome looks like this:

I've reduced it in size but you get the drift, lots of tabs, all visible and all easily identifiable.

Safari doesn't show favicon and it seems to only show a handful of my open tabs with the ones at each end being reduced in size and the titles truncated.

Is there an extension that will show favicon on the tab and allow me to customise how they're displayed. These are all pages that I like to have open and the favicons are how I identify them quickly at a glance.

You've got too many tabs open :p

Seriously though, have you used the tab manager icon in Safari? It should show you them all side-by-side, like in iOS. It may be a bit messy for that many tabs, but at least it'll group sites from the same domain i.e. Overclockers UK

I have the same problem. Neither Safari nor Chrome provide any plugin to do tabs in multiple rows. "Too many tabs" is not a thing in second decade of 21st century, I have three different browsers open (for three different sets of tasks and two signed in as two different accounts), each is tab wise maxed out, my firefox has four rows of tabs no bigger than (x) sign used to closed them and icon of website next to it, but because Safari and Chrome do not support multiple rows, I have to have three to four windows open in each, all with tabs too short to show name of the site, side to side...
