table football in pubs

I find it very hard to find decent quality tables - they've either been trashed by drunken louts or the surface is so sticky from (BEER!!!!) :p that it's not any fun.

We have a pro, theres always one, lol! :D ;)

i wish it was :)

dick turpin stayed there on several occasions apparently, hence the name.

B&B upstairs, bar downstairs, and a heavy rock club/venue bolted on the side. open on fridays for club night, and saturdays for gig night. 250+ capacity, and a decent PA that could rattle your fillings out.

not a bad place, and no chavs in sight!

but...i tihnk I would rather it was a sunday afternoon walk kinda pub :)

The Eastney Arms Pub in Portsmouth has table football and Heineken on tap, well worth a vsit.
Well I suppose that's one reason to go there :p

We used to have a table football... table in our office. Naturally being the slackers we are, we got very good at the game.

When we eventually stumbled into a pub that had a table football.. table, we noticed one of the 'locals' was on the table and being the sort of person he was, was gloating about his skills and offering a challenge.. so I stepped up and thrashed him. He was distraught! lol. Later he offered a re-match in the form of him and his mate vs me and my mate.. who also slacked off many hours playing table football with me, needless to say we thrashed em again.

They walked off absolutely gutted.. looking at the floor in complete amazement!

no point to this post.. just a brag
