Why is this game so damn awkward? Anyways, my beef is that there's hardly EVER anyone playing. I got it yesterday and throughout the day there was hardly anyone on and also last night. Nevermind...argh!

Just create a game yourself, it doesn't take long for someone to come along and play you. Although i have to say the standard of most online players is very good, don't think i've won once yet. Either that or i'm crap

This game angers me so much. I do soft shots...they go out - every ******* thing goes out. I don't get it. A guy is BLASTING the absolute **** out of me and his never go out...i step back and use soft shot - they go out, I return heavy fire - they go out...wtf am i meant to do? He blasts one - I return with a soft shot...and it goes out? How does his stay in?

sigh

If you feel the pad vibrate you have to pull back in the opposite direction on the pad very quickly. As for beating people online like I said you're asking the wrong person :p

I can't say I've ever had this problem - I'm no expert player buy any means (I'm currently stuck at the final of the rookie cup - simply cannot beat the German!), but the game is pretty good at keeping your shots in by default and letting you know if it's going to go out.

If there is a danger of your shot going out the joypad vibrates - i.e., if you're pushing to the left before you hit the ball, and the joypad starts vibrating, it's telling you you're shot is going to go off the left side of the table, so to ease up on the stick to compensate.
It's maybe a little unnoticeable to begin with but you soon pick up on this small detail.

By the way, anyone who has this game and wants to add me my tag is toptottyrc. I don't play it a great deal but if I'm on and you're after a game just send me an invite.

Usually you're safer to push in the other direction - but once you get used to it you'll figure out just how much pressure you need to take off/put on

I don't think it works very well. Sometimes it rumbles just as the shot leaves your hand, what good is that? Also sometimes it doesn't rumble..? It's an odd game. Somethings I like and somethings just plane suck.

I don't understand it. I aim up a power shot...nothing rumbles - but the second the ping pong ball leaves my raquet, it rumbles...how the hell do you do that? Meh...

Takes a while to get a game but i found it quite easy doing ranked matches! kept getting same guys all the time and they were easy, managed a few achievements in about 2hrs

Thank God that this was only £15. The "rumble" function is truely awful. On numerous occasions it hasn't even rumbled and I've done a soft shot and its still gone out. I just don't get it. It's also rumbled when the ball has been called out...now that's an early warning system! It's a very mixed bag...and I'm actually annoyed at waisting money on it. Oh well...as I've said - I'm glad it was only £15.
