I'm in a bit of a panic.

My sons (11yrs) wants a new tablet for his Christmas. He currently has a Tesco Hudl2 which has served him very well, it's a great wee tablet.
However he wants a new tablet that he can draw on with a stylus and I'm very much in the dark when it comes to that.
He loves making his own comics and would like to start drawing them on a tablet. So his big brother can't get to see them and laugh at him :D Kids eh? :)

I don't know how feasible it is for a tablet that allows him to rest his hand on the screen and not register his hand, only the stylus but, that would be ideal.

I don't have the budget for top of the range such as a surface pro or ipdad pro or the like.
I have a budget of around £200 which I can push to £300 or at a streeeeeetch £350.

Can anyone offer advice or better still suggest a tablet or solution?

Much appreciated,
keas.

check these tablets for your son:
Tesco Hudl 2
Amazon Fire HD 6
Kurio Tab 2

Have you looked into the Microsoft Surface 3? You should be able to pick one up for around your budget but will probably be at the top end and may have to be 2nd hand but I don't think there's much else out there for your budget with a decent drawing experience other then going to Surface 4 or iPad Pro like you say.

Hi, suggest you look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A with stylus. Decent spec, build quality and price.

The devices designed for stylus use have palm rejection so that when the stylus is near the screen your hand contact is ignored.
