Absolutely no profit in it for us. Far too many customers seem to think that when they spend sub £100 on a tablet as to why its not as good as their friends £400 iPad.

In short they are just a nightmare. So we shall kill them all off, if we sell any more in the future it will probably just be the NVIDIA branded ones.

If you were to only offer certain more premium branded (and only 1 brand?) 'high end' power user tablets (with a price to match) it would make the support more worthwhile (and your tablets probably more profitable).

We tried that, it failed.

The big brands the support is minimal, they might take your 3-4% profit upto 6-8%.

Going forward we shall just phase them all out and potentially only focus on NVIDIA tablets coming soon as already mentioned which will be high spec and high price units.
