Tablet for Business use?

I currently use a Fujitsu Stylistic ST5112 tablet for business use offsite and I am looking for an alternative tablet due to its age.

Primary needs are a Windows compatible tablet OS, able to host MS Office, USB ports, flash enabled, good battery life and fairly light to carry. Built in camera would be a bonus. Preferably under £1k

I have recently seen the Dell Inspiron Duo and the ASUS Eee Slate EP121 but battery life tends to let these down.

Any suggestions?

I haven't found the battery life on my Viewsonic Viewpad 10 to be limiting at all. It's quoted 4-5 hours seems to be about right. It boots Windows 7 and Android 1.6 out of the box. Two USB's, a micro SDHC card reader, a video out, a camera on the front and earphones out along with Wifi and Bluetooth make it quite capable. I have attached 1/2Tb USB drives, bluetooth mouse, bluetooth printer with no problem. I paid US$700 and change from Beach Camera on EBay so you should probably be able to find a similar deal in £'s somewhere.

Hanvon do one that is supposed to be very nice, reasonable speed too, probably quite hard to get hold of in the UK though.

ASUS are also going to be bringing one out soon too.

Don't buy anything from Zoostorm. Even if they do have a website again. Their customer support is fictitious and they don't publish drivers. When the tablet develops a fault, it's an immediate write off.

I am also looking at the Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 out shortly. Has anyone heard if these are any good for business use?

Called Zoostorm to get the drivers for the SL8, they answered straight away and gave me a link for the drivers. Have you been calling the right company?

It was more that we were unable to find any contact details for them whatsoever than calling the wrong number. I'm glad that you've had more luck. Welcome to the forums :)
