Been looking for a good hour trying to find a replacement for my laptop that I use out in the field. I work a lot with network equipment, in particular Cisco routers and switches.
I am searching for a tablet with a screen size of around 10" (or bigger) that has a RS232 and RJ45 ports. Price range is around £600-1200 although I could potentially go higher than this if the spec is good enough (IE good enough to run a VM or two, so 8GB RAM and Quad core CPU).
Anyone know where I can get such a device? I often see electricians with something similar however they are always using proprietary operating systems with tools explicitly related to the device's intended usage.
