Tablet for tethering a camera

that isnt an iPad 3, had one, didnt like it, sold it.

So im looking for a tablet that will let me tether a camera to it either through USB or wifi with an eye fi card in the camera.

I was looking at the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 but have no idea what the software is like for it. I dont want to edit photos , just get them on the tablet without having to do a second import from the camera and to preview them to the subject.

I was going to get the surface pro in the new year so i could get lightroom running on it but tbh i dont really need the grunt of that as i really just want a preview tool.

I dont mind the idea of a windows 8 tablet, got it on my laptop and quite like it. Just the bulk of a 17" laptop puts me off lugging it around to shoots.

Suggestions?
 
i like the look of the TF300 , will have to track one down to see what the screen is like in the flesh.

The thing with RT is that i might as well get the Pro just for the extra power / flexibility if i need it. Knowing better is just round the corner puts be off it a little now i guess. So i spose i do mind the idea of a win8 tablet :D
 
DSLR Controller let's you control Canon DSLRs from any Android device that has USB OTG.

Having live view on a 10" screen is excellent :)
