After yet another mistake when an event noted in the family calendar (paper, hanging on the kitchen wall) had not been transcribed in to my Outlook calendar I have decided to migrate the family calendar to a Google Calendar; a quick test to set up appropriate iCalendar permissions shows that the Google calendar happily displays in my Exchange Server delivered Outlook calendar pane, and that I can even merge the two calendars display-wise. Invitations from my calendar sent to the Google calendar also display properly - including without the hassle of having to acknowledge them or handle e-mails (I switched all this off). Perfect.
What I would now like to do is buy a cheap 10" tablet to leave in the kitchen and use as a permanently displayed, WiFi enabled, calendar.
This will remove the small amount of hassle involved in going to a laptop / netbook / PC, selecting the calendar, and updating it.
Recommendations for such a tablet, please?
