Tablet with full size USB

looking for a tablet with a full size USB port....
I see you can get adapters but are any of the tablets that have full size USB worthwhile?
Its for my dad...only real use is to plug in a camera when away at shows so he can watch/show others videos taken on the day...so something basic should be fine

Only tablet I can think of, that has a full size USB port, is a Linx 12 - a Windows 10 device. They're alright bits of kit for the money (about £200 or so), have a detachable keyboard and whatnot.

Other option is to have a USB stick with both ends - USB and USB-C for example, then you can load it up, and still use it on a tablet without the faff of an adapter.

Could you plug a portable monitor into the camera? Thay make monitors for this type of use.

A lot of the windows tablets have full sized usb ports for mice and keyboards, the camera would work as well.

What camera does your dad have? Some have a WiFi or Bluetooth setting so that you can view then with an app on an android or IPad you might have already?

Thanks all...The dedicates nonitor for viewing sounds like a good idea...keeping it as simple as possible would help. Is it field monitors you’re talking about or are there others meant for only viewing?
It’s a Cambox ls3...it has WiFi but he wants something he can just plug in to keep it simple (even tho there’s still folders to be opened etc...but that’s what he wants,so...)

I’ll get a proper look at the suggestions when I’m home later, cheers
