Tachyon Internet Security - Automatically on Laptop

People, no idea how but ive got this Tachyon Internet on my laptop somehow.

I def did not install it and not sure about keeping it or not as havent heard of it

So keep or unisntall and just keep Windows Defender and Malwarebytes?

I don't think I'd keep the mystery software I've never heard of and did not install myself, but that's just me.

Never heard of it, prob scamware - get rid and make sure MWBs has done a proper scan over your drive.

From a cursory Google search it appears a lot of people have had this happen to them recently, possibly related to something they did install themselves called "Tencent Gaming Buddy", whatever that is.

A PUBG mobile emulator which makes me feel violently ill.

Almost certainly spyware too.
