Hey guys,

The unit seems to be quite clicky sounding at low RPM and I'm wondering if this is normal? Apart from the initial startup and run down click the unit works perfectly fine.

For those interested...

Since its only a day old I'm tempted to send it back, but i thought id get owners opinions first.

Any help is appreciated!

I've narrowed it down to the metal sleeve on the roller. If i push down i seem to be able to feel slight movement with the plastic pushing through the holes and I hear the clicking sound it makes on low rpm.

I guess its time to consider sending it back, arghh...

I've decided to return it since I've only had it since Saturday. Its out of stock so I have to get a refund.

I'm considering ordering from Wiggle but I don't think I've ever had a box arrive in one piece from them!

Mine arrived in one piece without any extra rattles ;)

Ah nice, did it come inside a Wiggle box?

Mine came from Amazon with no box protecting the tacx box. It came quite bashed up with a few holes in it. The unit itself had a stress mark on the plastic from an impact due to the protecting polystyrene being broken up.

Never used Swift or TR yet so didn't get a chance to try out erg mode. I just done the tacx FTP test... Hopefully you get it sorted out.

Looking forward to trying out Swift!

Just received my new Vortex, done an FTP test on zwift (the 1 hour 14 min one)... Trainer is silent at least, heh

I've noticed the wheel doesn't exactly sit centre on the sleeve, no amounts of adjustment fixes it. Should i care?

-Edit
Flipping the skewer around so the quick release is cassette side puts the wheel bang in the middle.
