On the back of my psu theres a switch to choose from split or combined. Currently its set to combined.

Im running the rig in my sig. When i overclocked the cPU to 2.7Ghz the system just rebooted when attempting to run 3dm06. It ran 3dm01 fine and also super pi ok. Temps were 48 degrees under load.

At stock everythings solid except the volts are reported as under what they should be, ie +12v is reported as 11.59v

Will changing to split make any difference? Or should i just go and get a 580w model?

You might be pushing it on that PSU. Splut/combiened is when you want to spilt the rails so they are individual. EG Two coils make one 30A line as comb or two coils make two seperate lines at a total of 32A.

11.5V is abit low, so I think new PSU time :)

Only 26A on the 12v rail is pushing it for a system like yours heavily overclocked.

So that would probably explain why its ok at stock. The 530w version provides 33A and the 580w version provides 35A.

Will they be sufficient?
