Tai Chi - Liquid cooled case

Just wondering if this is any good or is is advisable to go for a seperate case / water cooling combo. I havent used water cooling before so any advise or comments would be appreciated. I dont want to blow £220 on a dud.

Dud.

They offer cooling on about the level of a Big Typhoon really, but at more noise and cost.

Your better going custom and fitting it to the case yourself, also much more sensible as its easier to add a new block later as the tubing will be a standard size.

Koolance make good custom watercooling, about the only all in one I would consider that I know about.

It's a dud.

I think that is all that needs to be said.

Custom kit + ATX case is FAR superior - all prebuilts are of poor quality (components are just junk).

For a similar price what recommendations, case and wc kit, do you have or do i get a wc kit and stick with my current case.

What will you be cooling? Graphics and chipset too?

Is that a Celery I see :eek:

- well, I think it's safe to rule out something like a Storm, an Apogee/6002 should do fine for that. Heatdumps of celery's are low, especially as they are all single cored too.

I will be buying conroe in december and i reakon id want to cool graphics as well. Swhat do you mean by heatdump?

Heatdump - how much heat the processor dissipates into the water (for cooling). It is usually measured in watts. A typical overclocked X2 can dump about 130W of heat but this can be easily dealt with by a radiator. e.g. a 120.2 should be able to handle about 600W heat before it becomes useless (whereby more heat is added to the water than is expelled by the radiator).

Its a dud, someone who lives near me had one id came badly packaged with a lot of scrathes and dents. He tried the water cooling and it is low quality in his opinion so he sent it back
