Tail tidy and rear reflector

Got round to fitting a tail tidy today and realised there's no where to fit the rear reflector.
I've read they're needed for MOTs but does not having one cause much if an issue

Yep that's it just needs a red reflector somewhere near enough the middle of the rear of the bike.

Don't bother. My mot tester just sticks one on for me test time. It then falls off...

Yea I have a reflector the size of about a 1p coin stuck on my number plate.

So easy enough to keep the MOT tester happy but what about the police, if I was to not have one would it be possible for them to pull me ?

Yes they could pull you as you need one under the construction and use regs iirc. Will they pull you for it? Absolutely not.

I had a small plate and no reflector and didn't get pulled in 25k over 2.5years

And if you do "it must have fell off officer, it was on at my MOT".

Don't worry about it.

Thanks all, it's a new bike so won't need an MOT anytime soon so I'll not bother with one for now

Let's just say you're supposed to have a plate light as well, 3 years and over 40k later I've never been pulled for not having one and having a small plate that includes a few jaunts thorough Wales.
