Take folder ownership en masse

Hi all,

Can anyone help. I have a server which has ts profiles. I need to take ownership of 600 or so of these. There are 4500 directories so its going to take a while to do this manually.

I have tried to use subinacl.exe, but for some reason thats not working (no errors though).

Any ideas?

Ahh the joys of roaming/TS profiles.

Can you not take ownership of the parent folder and tell it to propagate?

We have had problems doing that before as I think the citrix blades cache the profile and it has issues when they reconnect. Also it will take ages lol.

Take ownership of the parent directory is the only way then click replace permissions below. Note that this will give the permissions as they are at that level so all the users will be removed.

Going to be a hard one really if you have thousands as you would have to give everyone there permissions back or move them and recreate the profiles. Or copy and paste them. You get the general idea anyway.
