They are doing everything they can to see its release, i think its great they are sticking by it.

Ditto.

If they ban this game whats to stop them from banning others? I'm over 18 I should be able to make my own damn mind up about the game.

Its crazy they can completely try and ban this, if its over 18's only then I can't see the problem tbh...

Films have enough ppl going round doing similar to what is in the game and thy get given 18 certificate.

The key is in games its you doing it, and couple that with the wii controller and the violent kill moves become a little too real, i cant see why they cant release it on other formats though.

I have heard that Godfather has some pretty decent guestures for doing actions in game, don't know how close it is to punching someone as I haven't played it.

well yes but using a sword is quite different to grabbing someone and slitting there throat, or chainsawing someone up or using razor wire to garotte someone. Up until now Wii games haven't had gore or violence so this hasn't been a problem.

If they do manage to get this released then I think it will defainately sell. All the stuff in the media and it being banned is the best advertising they could have hoped for and means that lots of people will want it because it was banned, assuming they get the ban overturned.

theres no way itl never be released , it will of cost them millions wont it ?

even if they have to turn the humans into pink fluffy teddy bears and the weapons into water pistols theyl still release it

Anyone remember Thrill Kill on the PS1? It still got leaked even tho the developers had to stop as it was deemed too voilent.

Yep!! Breaking people's backs in a padded room, awesome :p Wee'd all over Mortal Combat from a great height.

im playing Killer 7,, this game touches on some dodgy subject matter as well, but what a game,,very wierd, but somehow refreshing,, and totally compelling.

Really? In Scarface on the Wii you can dismember people, leaving blood and limbs everywhere. With a chainsaw. In Godfather you torture people in to doing what you want using motion controlled violence. Manhunt may be more blatant about it, and to be honest I have no interest in the game, but making out that the Wii doesn't have this sort of violence already is incorrect.

Well as an example of how violent manhunt 2 was.. (prior to being banned) There was a move in the game you could do which involved you sneaking up on your enemies with a pair of bolt cutters, and being able to castrate your opponents. And then dangle there danglies in there face while they bleed to death..

Couldnt do that in scarface.. but then again not sure you'd want to either :)
