I'm going to visit my sister at the weekend and she wants me to take my xbox 360. I don't want it to break in transit... but will it be ok just in some kind of backpack type bag with some clothes wrapped around it? It's going by car.

Its a games console not an unexploded bomb. Put it in a carrier bag and lob it on the back seat. It will then still be handled better than the delivery drivers in the first place.

Don't do it, the 360's made out of a compound between Jelly, and half digested water biscuits. Any slight movement will result in the 360 just falling apart.

Yeah but it's a launch one and I'm sure it actually IS made of jelly and biscuits.

Lol :D

Personally I believe it's a chocolate inside. Which is why they melt at anything like room temperature.

sure it'll be fine, i walk around with mine in by rucksack all the time, i use one of those laptop rucksacks just in case.

You wanna be carefull walking around with a known explosive in a rucksack. Whatever you do dont run for a train.

This reminds me of when I got my 360 and I was tipping it from side to side for ages worried about the little clacking noise, there should be something about the horizontal / vertical detection mechanism in the manual*

*which should be little more comprehensive than the existing"turn it on" and a couple of warnings about not throwing jam at it, not putting it in the microwave etc.
