Quick and dirty. And yes, I have very little interest in cameras :P

Ok. I have a digital camera. It's not the best around, but it should be ok. It's a Samsung Digimax 530.

Any time I try and take pictures of my PC, or my motherboard they come out horribly blurred.

How do I stop this?

Move it to somewhere lighter - take it outside, put it near a window or point spotlamps at it or something. At the moment, in order to expose properly, it's having to use a long shutter speed, so camera shake becomes a problem. It might be easier just to prop the camera on something like a book, so the shake it removed - use a self timer on it to stop you having to press the button at the time.

Assuming it's in full-auto mode, it's probably because the environment you're taking a photo in is too dark. The camera compensates by making the shutter speed longer. Hence you get blur. A quick fix would to make the room a lot lighter so the camera doesnt need to do this, or read up on your manual settings. If you read up on your manual settings, you'll be wanting to put the ISO at the highest possible, the shutter at at least 1/zoom-length, and the aperture at the widest (smallest number).

EDIT: Beaten :o

I appreciate the help. I threw as much light at the motherboard as possible, and now I have a photo where I can read the numbers on a component on the PCB - couldn't read it with the naked eye.
