Hi chaps,

I've done a few Wordpress sites in the past but all v2, does anyone know of a good web resource where I can just see an overview of how to use the more useful of the new features so I don't have to sift through loads of stuff I'm already familiar with?

I've seen a few, but none that I've though "damn I've gotta bookmark that one!" if you know what I mean...

Any ideas?

I only really got into it with v3, but from what I've seen/heard the useful upgrades were the navigation builder and custom post type. This pretty much hits the nail: http://www.blogohblog.com/whats-new-in-wordpress-3-0/

Also important (but maybe not to the OP) are multi-site right from the start!
TwentyTen (default WP 3.0 theme) also introduced easily changed backgrounds, header images, RTL support (right to left reading), editor stylesheet so the editing screen is much closer to the actual page and a few other enhancements. It's much closer to a normal CMS now than a blogging platform

cool beans :)

Out of interest, why would you want to use the MU thing? what is the advantage of running loads of blogs from one install? doesn't it get really messy and clogged with themes and databases and all that?

Nope, one database and if you wish one theme. However, if you run a sorta social site (perhaps with Buddypress?) then multiple blogs might be of use. I agree it's maybe not that important on the surface, but the removal of MU and non-MU plugins is better as all plugins should now just work! As usual, there are the usual raft of improvements, bugs squashed etc.
