My Toxic 5850's fan has started making excess noise as if the fan needs oiling but I'm unsure how to take apart the heat shroud to get to the spindle on the underside. Just wondering if anyone on here has taken one apart before or know how to do it ?

Sounds like the fan bearing is dying/dead...is your card still under warranty? If it is, you could consider RMAing it, as taking the cooler apart would void the warranty.
But if it's out of warranty, then you can may be then try taking the thing apart.
