Taking Iphone 4S to USA

AT&T, T-Mobile, and probably some other smaller regional networks. Just make sure they're GSM.

You should be able to pick up a pre-pay SIM just about anywhere.

Avoid Verizon and Sprint.

This.

Although, it depends if you're just going there on holiday or not I guess? If so, check with your network about roaming charges abroad.

If it's permanent your phone needs to be unlocked so it will accept SIMs from any network.

Going away for 3 weeks and want to keep in touch with the world really, I came to conclusion that AT T and T mobile were the best... Dont know why but their websites are so much confusing than our UK ones. They seem to not like to write anything about pay as you go on their websites.

Be prepared to shocked.

Us is not cheap.

Expect to pay at east $50 for something which would cost about £10 in this country.

Best bet is to buy a 3 mifi dongle, unlock it then buy a mobile broadband SIM from T-Mobile when out there. You can get different amounts of data depending on what you need. Then use an app such as Skype to phone home. Either that, or get your iPhone unlocked and use a US pay monthly SIM in your phone, but it won't be cheap.

Same in Belgium as well you UK punters are spoiled with competition and cheap deals.

No rip off when it comes to free calls data and texts with your free phones :o
