Taking keys off Saitek Eclipse??

I've got one, but i have no idea. May i ask why you would want to take off the keys?

LEDs are along the bottom end of the keyboard so you probably won't damage the lighting, however taking them off could damage the mechanism that keeps it springy and responsive.
 
Why not buy a can of compressed air and using the "straw" atachment simply blow the keyboard out?
This is what I do every month and keeps things extremely clean.

good method, although what i would do is just avoid eating directly on it while eating, have the old MS keyboard here and have never cleaned it except a few wipes with a damp tower, mainly keep the eating down at the kitchet table =).
