Has anyone ever had any problems taking their kit to a premiership match? I'll be getting a lift and parking a fair way away from the ground so I won't really be able to put my stuff back if they don't allow it in. I know compacts are fine, but I want to take by bag with 350D and about 4 lenses.

4 Lenses! haha I dont think so. What are they?

At Old Trafford I dare to try a non gripped 20D plus Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro.

By all means try it but if they say no you wont be getting in.

75-300mm, 10-22mm, 28-135mm and 50mm. I know I wont need them all, but I'd like at least the 75-300 and 10-22mm, which means I may as well take my bag.

Don't think I'll risk it :(

Like I said its totally upto you. The guys on the gates dont see mine as they are in each pocket (Its a tight fit) However if a steward see's you through a 70 - 300mm He will probably tell you to not use the stuff or if hes got a rat up his ass remove you from the ground.

The 10mm is obviously for the atomoshere which you should be arlight with. Its just a load of lenses doesnt really say compact does it. And the tele photo.. Well that speaks for its self.

I would take the cam and eith the 10 - 22 & 50mm.. The others could bring attention your way. Its upto you if you wanna chance it.

Its only really an issue as its premiership. Whats the teams ground ?

It's Readings ground (might not be a premiership team for too long :p) I found this on their website - http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/staticFiles/c8/5/0,,10306~1480,00.doc point 14 would be the one they would get you under, although it seems more aimed at video recorders. I don't think I'm going to risk it though.

I didn't take the chance in the end. I was searched as I went in, and everyone who had a bag had it searched so I think they would probably have stopped me. Shame really beause we were sat quite close to the front and the seats were quite spaced out so I could have got some good shots.
