I have the ocuk 'black ops' system and was looking to take the OC off. From what ive been told there should be a setting in the bios you revert to normal but having had a look i'm a bit worries about changing something by mistake and ruining the system.

I dont suppose anyone has done this and could explain it in idiot proof instructions to help me out?

Thanks

you can reset the bios back to its defaults. think its on the exit menu. This'll remove the overclock (but you can reapply it later as its stored).

had to reset my own back to defaults for now as the overclock is having issues

I went to the exit part which allows you to reset to defaults but the way it was described to me was that you just changed the profile, whereas if i do it that way there seems to be no option to revert back.

I had kind of expected a part where it gave you options as to the profile, like one for overclock and another for default.

yep the profiles are in the tools menu, theres one of the options in there that'll take you to the preset profiles, in there you can select the OCUK profile with the overclock settings but there isen't one in there to revert it to a non overclocked state.
