Hi guy's.

Basically i'm really regretting changing my ISP to talk talk to save some money, i have signed up for talk talk broadband a few weeks ago and they sent me through a crappy wired modem. It wasn't until yesterday that i decided to try and set things up properly so that i could get my wireless on my xbox and computer upstairs, but here is where the problems start.

The only other router i had at the time was a BT voyager 2091, so i tried changing some of the settings within this but i was then told that this router only accepts BT connections.

So i got hold of a Belkin f5d7632-4 router from a mate, ran the set-up wizard and entered all of the details that it asked me to, but it still left me with no connection to the internet.

So i'm sat here using my wired connection trying to work out what to do, any ideas?

I've got 3 routers here (DG834GT, 3Com office, Zyxel 660HW - all wireless) and all work fine with talktalk. They do need a little tweaking to get the best from talktalk but I'm now syncing at 8meg and actual speed is around 6.5. Talktalk use the LLU service so maybe thats causing a problem with your BT modem:confused:

do a google for the voyager 2091 hack or firmware hack as its better than the belkin! got mine unlocked & it has a better signal than my netgear DG834gt. Once updated just follow the standard settings of login which is [email protected] & the password, cant fault it :D mind I sold this router to a friend so I had to set it up on talktalk & flash it.
