More issues with my parents broadband.
At about midday every day till late in the evening the upload speed drops to zero. It also does this randomly at other times of the day, there's still a connection, just nothing loads. Speed tests have ping and download at their usual, but upload speed varies from 0 to 0.01
Now I've done what I can think off, moving router to master socket etc, but talktalk are still saying there's no issue there end, and I can't see it being an issue at my parents end, they also have two computers and tried a different router.
Anyone know what the likely problem is?
Over utilisation at cabinets. Dodgy copper cabling, well we now it's old dodgy cancelling. 4miles in a straight line to the exchange and is a knowen poor area for the state of the cables.
I'm assuming switching to another provider is unlikely to help if it is utilisation?
4g can't roll out soon enough, although they probably won't get coverage for years.
