I know they had teething problems when they launched their so called 'Free Broadband', which led to a lot of people slagging them off.
But all i can say is after having the service for 10mths....im impressed and surprised because i was expecting the worst when i was informed we were going to be getting broadband from them...but...
1. Not one single outage in 10mths
2. Whatever the time of day, i can get my full speed, (limited to 4mbit due to exchange distance..
)
3. Multiplayer gaming...on UK servers its been brilliant, always in the 30-50 ping range depending on server location.
4. Torrents, do not appear to be shaped or limited in any way,a well seeded torrent will max out my connection, although i have to admit i dont do a lot of P2P, perhaps 3-4GB a month, if that, so maybe people who go crazy on P2P will be targeted, i dont know.
5. 40GB monthly limit, pretty certain i have exceeded this once or twice, but no cut back in connection speeds has been enforced.
Overall for a dirt cheap, if not 'free' service, based upon my experience, a definate recommendation.
Now i suppose, a lot of you will come on here and say how terrible your experience has been with them...
