I use them for broadband and phone, had no problems at all with the phone side of things, broadband is appalling though. Advertised as unlimited 1 meg connection, and they claim they don't block any filesharing ports, the service is always slow and the only way to get filesharing to work is to encrypt the headers. One year contract that costs to quit, despite the blatant false advertising. I'm cancelling my internet and phone service once my contract is up (march) as I don't trust them to provide the service I am paying for.
Whatever you do with broadband though, I'd reccomend not going with talktalk. Before I changed to them, I used virgin for my broadband which worked fine with no problems, so I would imagine you'd be ok with your current provider
