Can someone please tell me why a 'de-chromed' BMW is the better and more expensive option? I didn't think chrome looked at all bad and thought it made the car look better. And then it's phrased as de-chromed implying it's an option taken off the car?

Some people think it looks better - and Sport models are dechromed as standard.

the difference is negligible unless you're looking for it
altho the chrome would look a bit odd if it's a sport, esp with the anthracite headlining
although i think that makes the cabin a bit claustrophobic..
