Two words they need to learn very quickly: Customer Service. I don't think they've got the concept of this yet. Oh and they're network was over subscribed last time I helped one of their customers.

I need to access my works VPN, is this possible with talktalk?

For a low cost ISP they are quite good, they have a Talktalk members site to help with any issues (use this rather than phoning if possible) - just watch out if your area is oversubscribed.

VPN's can be used however Talktalk do traffic manage and I'm not 100% sure if your VPN will stay 'unfettled'.

Basically if you are serious about BB look elsewhere but if not then as stated give it a go for 18months
Other than that maybe o2 at around £7.50 plus £10 every 3 months on mobile card (or package) plus a BT line rental
